Mark is the managing partner of the firm and he specializes in taxation. He is also the author of The Blunt Bean Counter, a blog about income tax, business, the psychology of money and investing topics.

He specializes in personal tax preparation and planning, corporate tax planning and reorganizations, estate planning, and R&D taxation.

Mark has presented papers and spoken on accounting, business and taxation matters for the Canadian Bar Association and Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations, The College of Veterinarians of Ontario, The Ontario Psychological Association, Humber & Seneca College and Canadian Women in Communications Association. He has been quoted on taxation issues by the Lawyers Weekly, Canadian Lawyer Magazine, Financial Post and Globe & Mail.

He is a past Big Brother, a former member of Make-A-Wish Foundation Senate Committee, and is currently a member of the Reena Foundation Investment Committee and a Wish Grantor for Make-A-Wish.Mark is a sports enthusiast, enjoying golf, hockey, coaching sports, as well as collecting netsukes (Japanese miniature sculptures), reading, and travel.
