He started out his public accounting career in 1982 with Touche Ross International and later moved to KPMG in St. Lucia. In Canada, Regal has worked with several small to medium-sized public accounting firms where he developed well-rounded skills in providing advice and assurance services to small to medium-sized businesses. He obtained the CA (UK) designation in 1983 and the CMA (UK) designation in 1985. Highlights of his career include setting up a pricing model for a major brewery in the Caribbean and working with various small businesses in Canada to set up their IT systems/accounting software. Regal has also lectured to final year students for the professional accounting accreditation in the UK. |
